You just never know what you might run across when driving down old rural roads. I spotted this gem on our way to a winery and knew I would be u turning just as soon as I dropped Ryann off.
I wasn’t wearing snake boots and didn’t feel like chancing it. I walked up and down the drive way a few times trying to find a composition I liked. This was my favorite vantage point. Any higher and you could see houses in the background. I really wanted to keep the cactus in the shot, but shooting with more of a side car view just didn’t work for me.
It is a shame that antiques like this are left to weather, but the rusted body does give the subject so much more personality.Equipment: Nikon D700, Sigma 24 – 70 Post Processing: Aperture, Nik HDR Efex Pro, Photoshop, Nik Color Efex Pro HDR Details: 5 exposures -3, 0, +1 As always, you can click the image to see it at larger sizes.
