Today’s image is another one I took while on our photo walk Cowboy Stadium.
In a previous post I made I was discussing not taking the same shot that everyone else takes. So for this one I took my time. I think almost everyone in our group took a picture of this statue, and I think it was the first thing most people shot when we got to the stadium. I decided to take my time and think about it. This ended up being one of the last shots I took before going inside.
Initially I was trying to catch a sun flare off the side of the building. After a few failed attempts at that I decided that I hadn’t seen anyone lay on the ground and shoot up on Tom. For this shot I was laying on my back and hand holding for an HDR exposure. I had no idea how well it would work out till I could get home and see if I was steady enough to put the images together.
Turns out that I am very pleased with the end result. Hope you enjoy.
