French Quarter Fest

As this Sunday starts to wind down I am a little sad knowing that my beautiful wife and I were not able to attend French Quarter Fest this year.  In the spirit of the event we did enjoy our morning coffee listening to Tim Laughlin The Isle of Orleans, one of my favorite albums.  We talked about all the awesome food we were missing out on.  My favorite being Tujagues beef brisket, one of the oldest restaurants in the French Quarter.  Ryann’s fondest food memory was the Flour Power Praline Crème brûlée.  And what is a trip to New Orleans without the world famous Café Du Monde for breakfast or an after dinner treat.

One of my favorite shots from the quarter.
